A recently completed project in Walthamstow, East London. Working with architects Studio Shaw.
This work involved close collaboration with the client as they are an architect and had designed the building as their own home. The garden consists of a sequence of three spaces. Starting via a planted arrival corridor which acts to recalibrate as you enter. This route culminates in a view through the house and into a central courtyard. Once inside, an outdoor bathroom courtyard is visible across an east/west axis. The bath is set within jungle like planting to create something immersive, private and different from any environment you might find yourself in while living in a city.
